Code of Conduct for Students

1️⃣ Discipline and Behaviour

Students must maintain discipline and decorum inside and outside the campus.
Respect towards teachers, staff, and fellow students is mandatory.
Any form of misconduct, indiscipline, or violence is strictly prohibited.

2️⃣ Attendance

Students must attend classes regularly as per university norms.
Minimum attendance percentage must be maintained to appear in examinations.

3️⃣ Academic Integrity

Cheating, plagiarism, and unfair means in examinations are strictly prohibited.
Assignments and projects must be original work.

4️⃣ Anti-Ragging Policy

Ragging in any form is strictly banned as per guidelines of the
University Grants Commission (UGC).
Students found guilty of ragging will face strict disciplinary and legal action.

5️⃣ Anti-Sexual Harassment

Any act of harassment or discrimination is punishable under the rules of the
Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
Students must promote gender equality and dignity.

6️⃣ Use of College Property

Students must take care of college property, furniture, library books, and laboratory equipment.
Damaging property may result in penalties.

7️⃣ Dress Code

Students must follow the prescribed dress code (if applicable).
Clothing should be decent and appropriate for an academic environment.

8️⃣ Prohibited Activities

Use of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or any banned substances on campus is strictly prohibited.
Carrying weapons or dangerous objects is not allowed.

9️⃣ Participation in Activities

Students are encouraged to actively participate in academic, cultural, and sports activities.
Participation should reflect discipline and teamwork.
